Integrated logistics is a management process that governs the flow of materials incoming and outcoming a warehouse, passing through all the phases: arrival, unloading, production, packaging, storage, palletization and loading.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO OUTSOURCE LOGISTICS?
We are happy to carry out a free inspection at your company to collect and analyze all the necessary data. After that, will we be able to offer you a personalized quotation that meets your needs.
HOW LONG DOES AN OUSOURCING LOGISTICS CONTRACT LAST?
The duration of the contract is strictly linked to your requests and needs. We offer both continuous services, with annual or multi-year contracts, and limited-term services, aimed at helping companies to correctly set up warehouse procedures and flows, or to deal with temporary work peaks.

WHAT ABOUT THE PACKAGING MATERIALS?
We can supply any type of packaging material approved and compliant with current regulations for the correct shipment of dangerous and non-dangerous goods, such as boxes, labels and pallets. We print compliant labels for the intended transport of goods, including danger labels, impact indicators and tip over indicators. We prepare all the documentation and declarations necessary for the transport to which the goods are destined.
DO YOU ALSO DEAL WITH THE ASSEMBLY OF THE PRODUCTS?
We offer a wide range of ancillary services, including sleeve and shrink of goods, packaging and product assembly, kitting (multipacks, special offers, promotions, collections, special events) and display construction (assembly of cardboard products and/or plastic displays, including leaflet preparation and insertion).
CAN I SHIP YOU MY PRODUCTS FOR STORAGE ONLY?
We have warehouses dedicated to the storage of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, even if not intended for handling. We also offer picking, order preparation, packaging, e-commerce and customer service, inventory management, returns management, reconditioning and/or disposal services.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO ORGANIZE A TRANSPORT FROM YOUR WAREHOUSE WITH AN EXTERNAL COURIER?
Of course, the important thing is that the collection is booked at our office.
WHAT ARE THE COSTS OF STORAGE AT YOUR WAREHOUSE?
We build each proposal around the real needs of our customers, the characteristics and requirements of the activities, making a 360° evaluation and taking into consideration all the variables in order to be able to offer a tailor-made quote without surprises.
Logistica per e-commerce
DO YOU HAVE AN AFTER-SALES SERVICE?
We have a multilingual customer care service that respond to any information relating to the status of the order via telephone, SMS, e-mail, live chat and messenger.
DO YOU COLLABORATE WITH A CALL CENTER SERVICE OR DO YOU HAVE AN INTERNAL/EXTERNAL ONE?
We have an internal call center to respond to any doubts and needs of our customers.
DO YOU ALSO MANAGE COMPLAINTS, STOCKS AND RETURNS?
Our customer care service is able to provide answers regarding the status of shipments (storage releases, returns or changes of destination address), to assist the recipients in dealing with the courier, to resolve problems of various kinds (complaints and general questions), and finally to manage stocks and returns (courier booking, quality control of returned goods, reconditioning and/or disposal).
CAN I SHIP FROM MY WAREHOUSE AND USE YOUR SERVICES?
Absolutely yes, we can also manage outsourcing services: after acquiring the orders, we create the labels and send them to your warehouses. You will create the package for shipping, then take advantage of our couriers and other extra services such as Customer Care and Call Center.
DO YOU INTEGRATE WITH SHOPIFY?
Our management system integrates perfectly with the main e-commerce companies on the market, such as Magento, Shopify and Sales Force. In addition, we have a staff of IT technicians who can accommodate customer needs and quickly handle any service customization requests.
BLACKLISTED CUSTOMERS: DO YOU HAVE A DEDICATED DATABASE?
We have a constantly updated database where we register customers who cyclically refuse the package so as to block useless shipments.
DO YOU AUTOMATICALLY CHECK FOR DUPLICATE ADDRESSES?
Once the orders have been collected, we always check that there are no address errors and duplicates, to avoid unnecessary shipments and waste of money and energy.

HOW CAN I GET THE RATE FOR A TRANSPORT?
You can send us an email indicating the following information:
  • Type of goods
  • Measurement of the goods
  • Amount of the goods
  • Total weight in Kg
  • Date and address of loading
  • Date and address of unloading
We will contact you as soon as possible indicating the feasibility, rate and timing of the transport.
WHAT ARE THE DELIVERY TIMES?
Delivery times depend on numerous factors (type and quantity of goods, address of collection and unloading, etc.), but we always try to satisfy the needs of our customers.
WHICH GOODS YOU DO NOT DELIVER?
Villa&Riva does not transport the following types of goods:
  • Boats, agricultural machinery and motor vehicles
  • Fresh and temperature-controlled food and pharmaceutical products
  • Animals
  • Precious, gold and jewels
  • Artistic works (works of art, paintings, etc.)
  • Paper money
  • Weapons or weapon parts
  • Material for which a specific administrative authorization is required (HACCP, Health Authorizations, etc.)
HOW IS A CUBIC METER CALCULATED?
The volume of the goods is calculated simply by multiplying the three dimensions of the box: width x length x height
HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE STOP FOR LOADING AND UNLOADING?
We apply an extra rate for each hour following the first 2 hours of stoppage for loading or unloading, if not communicated when ordering.
WHAT ARE THE MAXIMUM TRANSPORTABLE SIZES AND WEIGHT?
Maximum transportable measurements and weights are established by the laws in force for each type of vehicle:
  • for one engine: 150 quintals and/or 9.60 meters
  • for one truck: 280 quintals and/or 13.60 meters
  • for a road train: 270 quintals and/or 15 meters
I WOULD LIKE TO SHIP VALUABLE GOODS: DO YOU HAVE A FORM OF INSURANCE ON TRANSPORTED MATERIALS?
We have a standard carrier policy which insures goods for a value of €1/kg, but upon request we can study customized solutions for real amounts of goods up to a maximum of €100,000.
DO YOU ALSO SHIP ABROAD?
We offer shipments to Italy, Europe and the rest of the world by land, sea and air.
DO YOU HAVE AGREEMENTS WITH EXPRESS COURIERS?
We have established strategic partnerships with the major national and international couriers, leaders in the sector, to offer a wide range of proposals and solutions 365 days a year.
HOW DOES THE “CASH ON DELIVERY SERVICE” WORK?
We can arrange the “cash on delivery service” by writing it in the DDT, indicating the amount in numbers and letters, in addition to the collection method. However, we assume no responsibility for irregularities, forgeries or non-coverage of bank checks or cashier's checks accepted by customer order.
DO YOU SHIP THE GOODS TO LIMITED TRAFFIC AREAS?
We deliver the goods in restricted traffic areas of medium/large cities with trucks or vans. However, shipments in limited traffic areas require an extra notice and any mandatory requirements must be agreed in advance.
HOW SHOULD THE PALLETS BE PACKED FOR TRANSPORT?
The goods must be stacked correctly on pallets to create a solid structure. Then it is necessary to package the structure with stretch film and attach labels on its sides showing all the information required by the standard.
CAN I MAKE URGENT AND EXPRESS DELIVERIES?
We carry out any type of transport all over the world, including express and urgent ones.

WHICH REGULATION SHOULD I COMPLY WITH FOR THE IMPORT AND EXPORT OF GOODS?
There is no universal answer, as it depends on the product sector and the customs regulations of the states in which you wish to operate.
WHAT SHOULD I DO TO START IMPORTING?
You can send us an email or make an appointment to get an analysis of the regulations and operational aspects that apply to your business. Our experts can support you in any area: tax, commercial, legal, customs and logistics.
DO I NEED TO REQUEST SPECIAL LICENSES TO IMPORT/EXPORT GOODS?
We can help you understand the type of licenses and regulations that govern your import or the jurisdiction of the countries you wish to export to. Our professionals are at your disposal for any need.
WHICH DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED TO IMPORT/EXPORT GOODS?
Standard documents such as commercial invoices and certificates of origin of products are always required for import and export. However, some goods may also require additional documents. Our staff can accompany you at every stage of the process to help you solve any problem.
WHO IS THE ENTITY RESPONSIBLE FOR EXPORT REGULATION?
Each country has its own specific rules and regulations. Our experts are always available to study your case and offer you the most suitable solutions for you.
